SENC-Latin American Young Investigator Training Program,Spain

Summary

The Spanish Society of Neuroscience (SENC) organizes a program for graduate students and young post-doctoral researchers from the Latin American community linked to its biannual meeting (Oviedo, Spain; September 25th to 27th 2013). The program is aimed at providing young Latin American researchers with multiple opportunities to connect with colleagues, institutions and universities working in the Neuroscience in Spain and promote future collaborations, job opportunities and scientific interchanges. To this aim, we organize short research stays (2-4 weeks) in leading Spanish Neuroscience labs before or after the 15th SENC Meeting 2013. A call for applications will be launched in April 2013 in parallel to the SENC Meeting Abstract Submission Call. The program offers a total of 7 stipends of 1,500 euros per applicant to help covering expenses, including flight tickets, transportation, accommodation and living costs. Eligible applicants are PhD student or young postdoctoral fellow (age limit: 35 at the time of registration).
