XI Simpósio Brasileiro de Matriz Extracelular
VI International Symposium on Extracellular Matrix
Hotel Atlântico Búzios, Búzios, RJ, Brazil.
ABSTRACTS DEADLINE ON MAY 30, 2011
The V International Symposium on Extracellular Matrix (SIMEC 2011) will approach diverse aspects of ECM structure and function in health and disease. This year we will have 2 sessions of “Bridging Technological Gaps”, designed to foster new approaches to cell biology and ECM studies.
The main focus of the SIMEC 2011 will be the crosstalk between different areas in which ECM is the common ground. Furthermore, an entire day will be dedicated to ECM in the nervous system, in collaboration with the Brazilian Society for Neuroscience and Behavior.
As expected, outstanding scientists from a variety of countries will be present, thus guaranteeing high quality discussions throughout the meeting.
We are confident that SIMEC is an excellent setting for new ideas and scientific collaborations to arise, not to mention the wonderful scenery of Búzios.
