The Max Planck Florida Institute (MPFI) and IBRO have formed a partnership to offer young neuroscientists from Latin America the opportunity to receive post-doctoral training at the MPFI facility in Jupiter, Florida (USA), in March of 2012.

Operating as part of IBRO’s Inter-Regional Initiative, involving the US/Canada and Latin American Regional Committees, the MPFI-IBRO Latin American Fellows Program for Neural Circuit Research will foster collaboration between neuroscientists from the two regions and strengthen neuroscience research and training in Latin America. In addition to a stipend and access to state-of-the-art facilities, those individuals selected to participate in the program will receive mentorship from MPFI scientists, who will be directly responsible for their research training.
Finalists will be invited to a symposium at the Max Planck Florida Institute, in Jupiter, Florida, in March of 2012.
